Food Travels

A Record Store Travel Adventure
Location shooting is a lot FUN! I love the figuring out what background is going to look good and there’s so many props to work with too. Occasionally, I shoot model portfolios. It’s fun to do, plus it means the lovely and talented make-up artist Nikol Elaine brings her bubbly positive energy on set. I LOVE working with Nikol! We’ve known each other for about six years now and have become great friends. If you’re ever needing a professional make-up artist, Nikol is your girl! I highly recommend her and she always brightens up any photo set. And a BIG thank you to the record stores who let me swing by to shoot! And Maaika, the lovely model, who was an absolute breeze to work with.

Unexpected Gifts Are The Best!
I received a text from my girlfriend Melanie, saying if she could drop off a little treat in the AM for me. Absolutely! Here I was thinking it was like a cupcake and was totally surprised to receive a whole cherry pie! Thanks Melanie=) it was SO delicious and I shared the love with some other friends. Next time I go snowboarding, we’re definitely checking out Ikeda’s Pie Shop , YUM!

Konar Family In The House
My in-laws visited for a long weekend, recently, so I stepped away from working on my NEW website! to hang out with them. We had such a lovely time cooking, catching up, and visited the UC Botanical Garden, Muir Woods, and California Academy of Sciences. All places that one should visit when in the Bay Area. And I just would like to say Thanks for hanging out and I LOVE you guys!

My Life Travel Logs
I frequently travel to Portland and every single time I manage to eat my way through this wonderful city. I lived in Portland for nine years and it’s changed so much. It’s true, it does rain a lot, but Portland gets all four seasons, so summer does happen. There’s always plenty to do and so many fabulous restaurants.
